Cedar Creek Kids Corner – April 9th
This week in First Steps our toddlers will act out the story of the empty tomb and play a ball game that relates to the story.
Our Kid’s Creek Elementary Group will participate in the story of Palm Sunday on an iPad using the children’s bible app.  They will create their own palm leaves and discuss the beginning of Holy Week.
 
*There will be no children’s church on Easter Sunday*

Parenting Small Group Starting Soon!
Pastor Rob will be leading a Parenting Small Group at Cedar Creek beginning SaturdayApril 22nd from 2p.m.-3p.m.  Child care will be provided.  The group will meet every other Saturday until early June.
 
Baptism
If you are interested in becoming baptized, Pastor Rob will be conducting classes soon for a June 11th baptism at CCCC. For more information, please contact Pastor Rob.
 
April 23rd – Special Meeting after Service
We want to thank everyone who participated in the last special meeting to approve the amended church Constitution. Copies with the approved changes will be available soon.
We are having another meeting April 23rd to vote in the Interim Officers and Ministry Leaders and to make 2 amendments to the current constitution.
  • To allow staggered terms for officers
  • To allow Management Team to appoint new Ministry Leader should current leader step down
 
April 30th – Spring Fling and Potluck Picnic
Welcome Spring! CCCC will be having an all-church indoor potluck picnic after service on April 30th! This is a great opportunity to ‘feast’ and ‘fellowship’ with one another! There will also be live music from our wonderful worship band. Please bring a dish to pass if you are able.

Permanent Pastor Search Progress Update:  By Josh Branham
Reference calls have been completed and we are awaiting background checks results.  Assuming everything runs smooth and we stay on track, we should have a final candidate to present to the church by mid to late May.  If not sooner! Please continue to pray for the Search Team as well as our new Pastor to be.
 
1st Impressions Ministry – Calling All Greeters, Treaters and Coffee Makers!
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.1 Peter 4:10   
The 1st Impressions Ministry is still in need of volunteers to help pass out bulletins, bring treats and help make coffee. You can sign up for only one of the tasks, or all three if you desire. The tasks are easy not too time consuming. Please help us build our church and make a great ‘first impression’ to all the new comers! The sign-up sheet is on the back table.
 
Cedar Creek Kids – Please Help Support Their Mission!
Our Kid’s Creek Elementary ministry will be given a mission this year: to reach out and help 12 Christian families that are currently facing persecution for their faith. Each month they will put together a medical, outreach, or action pack through the Voice of the Martyr Foundation.
If you are interested in supporting them in their mission, there is a basket for monetary collection next to the coffee area.  The cost to order a self-fill pack is $7 each. You may also bring NEW items from the following list: 
•       Blankets
•       Jackets/Windbreakers (adult/child)
•       Light Sweater (adult/child)
•       Socks (adult/child)
•       Solid color t-shirt (any child size)
•       Bed Sheet
•       Towel
•       Bar of Soap
