Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.   Romans 5:3-5     
 
Pastor Rob continues his sermon series Good Grief: How to Understand Evil, Theodicy, and to Care for the Suffering with How Do We Face Pain and Suffering this weekend at CCCC. This has been a very powerful sermon series so you won’t want to miss this week!

Cedar Creek Kids Corner – February 26th
This week our First Steps toddlers will wrap up their lesson on the Good Samaritan with a puppet story from the Donkey’s perspective, as well as a complete a craft representing the road the Good Samaritan walked.
Our Kid’s Creek Elementary group will complete their unit on Jesus’ Parables with a DVD clip of the parable of the Forgiving Father.  After completing a small craft and playing a game, they will discuss how it relates to the story and their own lives.
